THINGS I KNOW TO BE TRUE Dear friends, It's that time of the year when we unfurl our sails again for another eventful journey on the boards!  We begin our 2023 season at Teatro do Bairro with  SYNOPSIS "It wasn't meant to be like this. I thought they'd be like us. But better than us. Better versions of us." Bob Price Written by critically acclaimed Australian playwright, Andrew Bovell, Things I Know To Be True provides a complex and intense portrait of the mechanics of a family – and a marriage – through the eyes of four siblings struggling to define themselves beyond their parents' love and expectations. Bob and Fran Price have worked hard to give their four children the opportunities they never had. Now, with the kids ready to make lives of their own, it's time to sit back and smell the roses. But the change of the seasons reveals some shattering truths, leaving us asking whether it's possible to love too much.
